Aluminium
With recent investment of some £80m in its press and anodizing plant alone, our supplier is responsible for the recycling of over 20 thousand tonnes of aluminium material each year; much of it converted to military standard certified aluminium extrusion.
Textiles
Extensively tested for functionality, wear resistance and fire safety, all textile elements in EMD products are certified by renowned European testing institutes and hold Eurofins Gold label status for quality and sustainability.
Rubber
Wherever possible we have always used natural or recycled rubber in preference to plastic. Apart from the environmental issue, we are committed to the benefits of grip, flexibility and durability that only rubber compound can provide.
Adhesives
Sophisticated adhesive systems developed in the aerospace industry provide safe solutions to exacting tasks ensuring long term dependability.
Packaging
We use recycled board packaging wherever practical and avoid the use of plastic packaging whenever possible.
End of Life Recyclability
We design and source materials to facilitate efficient end of life recyclability and promote an end of cycle collection policy.
